Our volunteers play a crucial role in the work we do, so it’s critical to keep accurate records of the hours our volunteers work.
Not only do we need this information for our yearly audits, but we like to thank our volunteers for the work they’ve done. Many of our volunteers need documentation of their community service hours performed.
Our kiosk allows volunteers to easily enter the hours they work. In the past, this information was handwritten on paper and manually entered into our system, often weeks later. Kiosk Pro makes it easy to send this information directly into our system.
Accuracy Every Time
A major part of the services we provide is a food pantry for those in need.
The Food Pantry relies heavily on food donations from the community and each donation is weighed and logged so we can track the value of our donations as well as thank our donors.
Using Kiosk Pro next to the food scale in the donation area, we can have immediate access to correct information. The app also allows us to send an email thank you to our donors, saving us postage costs while still recognizing the donor’s contribution.
Capturing Visitor Information
Our thrift shop earns a third of the revenues used to provide our programs and services to people in need in our community.
To entice our shoppers to keep returning, we send a weekly sales alert and update emails.
Displaying a newsletter sign up form in Kiosk Pro allows shoppers to enter their information while freeing up staff time to keep the shop running.
