Due to supply chain delays, there may be extended lead times for this product. If you have a specific deadline for your project, we recommend contacting our sales team to confirm availability.

Supply power and an optional wired internet data connection to your tablet kiosk over standard Ethernet cabling.

Designed for kiosks that are stationed without power outlets nearby and/or kiosks that need a wired data source, our Low Voltage PoE provides a solution that can easily be installed by anyone. No need to use bulky extension cords or hire an electrician to install a new outlet.

Details

  • IEEE 802.3at-compliant power over ethernet (PoE)
  • Capable of delivering a maximum power output of 25 watts
  • Available power profiles include 5 volts 2.6 amps, 9 volts 1.78 amps, 12 volts 1.34 amps, 15 volts 1.37 amps, or 20 volts 1.15 amps with the correct power profile for the tablet being automatically selected upon connection.
  • Optional support for a wired 10/100 Mbps internet data connection

The complete system includes the green Remote Module, a 56 volt 60 watt UL/FCC certified power supply, and the blue Kiosk Module.

The Remote Module is plugged into any standard 110-volt AC wall outlet using the included power supply and can be connected to any ethernet data source if a wired ethernet connection is desired for the kiosk.

For locations with existing PoE infrastructure, the Kiosk Module is offered separately and can be used with a standard 802.3at PoE switch with a 56-volt power supply in place of the Remote Module. If your existing infrastructure uses the older 802.3af standard, you can connect the Remote Module to update to the 802.3at standard required for use with this system.

The Kiosk Module is secured inside the kiosk enclosure and connects to the tablet through a USB-C cable that comes with the tablet or can be purchased separately from Kiosk Group - see ‘Supported Tablets’ for more detail.

The modules are connected using up to 328 feet of standard ethernet cable (Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 with RJ-45 connectors), allowing you to use existing cable infrastructure or buy the exact length needed. LEDs on both modules allow for easy visual verification of a successful connection.

Batteries and other charging accessories on our site are covered by a 1-year warranty. No warranty or liability of any kind for attached devices. External surge protection is required for any situation where lightning or ground loops may occur.
